IO Consortium Productions: MINA Health
Necessity is the mother of all invention
Interview by: Ryan Jaten and Dr. Kenneth Hill, Jr., MD
Drs. Katherine and Kenneth Hill, Co-Founders of MINA Health, are well poised to understand the intricacies of the current health care arena. As practicing physicians, with no intention to become entrepreneurs and industry leaders for communication via QR Codes, they observed and experienced the frustrations in gathering the patient reported health information that is the foundation of all care. This process is completed an estimated 860 million times per year in the US only, however, it is done inefficiently. Besides the current process adding an unnecessary burden to the healthcare process, it is also adding an unnecessary frustration to patients, providers and staff alike. More specifically, this is occurring almost 300 times per 100 persons in the in the US per year. We all can share in the frustration and now we all can share in the solution.
